#BigBear. #Kaydee caught a whopper of a fish. A visiting eagle gave chase, following her to a tree, where #Shadow provided backup. The visitor didn’t stand a chance and flew off. Interesting teamwork as things here progress.

In #BigBear, #Shadow perched for over an hour before #Kaydee joined him. It wasn’t till then that he moved to the nest & shuffled a few sticks. It’s early days & I'm hopeless at reading their minds, so just grateful to observe and learn.

#BigBear never fails to bring dramatic weather. #Shadow & #Kaydee perched separately throughout the big thunderstorm. As Kaydee was trying some new perches, a HUGE clap of thunder made her lose her footing and she flew off.

In #BigBear, Shadow brought a fish to the nest with Kaydee in hot pursuit. He made it crystal clear that it was *his* fish and *his* fish alone. She wisely kept her distance. Observing whatever this is between #Shadow&Kaydee is fascinating.

#Kaydee brought the 1st stick of the season. When #Shadow arrived she seemed pretty excited and nibbled his beak, then his feathers, which he accepted. It was quite a change in dynamics from the previous day.
