The only issue I've seen referenced with regard to using this fear is that it might cause some distortion, but in my case (MacBook Air 2020), I'm getting none of that. It's just louder and remains clearer than speakers I've had on other units. Huzzah!

Check this out: you can push your speakers beyond "100%" in #Gnome! If you have dinky little laptop speakers, as one does, then you can get a little more juice out of them.

When discussing #FLOSS it's inevitable these days to also mention their maintainers' position on #slopware / #GenAI / #LLM extruders.

In the #VisiData case, the maintainers have a considerably more liberal stance than I would prefer, even given their internet to avoid the “unaccountability” […]

Anyone know somewhere to get OS stickers that:
1. Isn't a design nightmare
2. Actually gives money to the projects
3. Ships to NZ

Have been through Debian's own merch shop list, and none of the stores really met these requirements. :/
