An unusually tender passage from Julian Maclaren-Ross's otherwise hard-boiled 1947 novel Of Love and Hunger, about a man trying to sell vacuum cleaners, get off with a friend's wife, and also write a bit in a seaside town on the eve of WWII. 📚

She laughed, but not so naturally as usual. Her laugh sounded a little forced. She'd no make-up on at all, with her skin pale and clear, her lips normally pink and her eyes only a little shadowed, she looked so different from the Sukie in my dream that I couldn't imagine making love to her or even wanting to. But then in the dream I hadn't made love to her. I had been in love with her. There's a big difference.

Bovine Blues
Cosmo Wanderlust

Beau was a dainty little cow that was treated more like a pet than livestock. He only needed to provide for a single family farm so he didn't need a high milk yield, not that he produced much even before his testosterone treatments.

Although his body grew more masculine, it still remained delicate and thin. But at the same time, he never bothered to bulk up. Why would he? He was doted on and well-cared for. On the farm, he got his own private barn. It was small, but it was still his. He had his own milking bench that was given extra padding to make up for his own lack of cushion. His stall was filled with soft pillows and blankets with his own stash of snacks purchased with his allowance, and a plethora of cow print outfits for any occasion his owners might show him off at.

Despite his small size for a cow, Beau's parents were very prestigious. Both had won blue ribbons at various fairs across the country. His mother for not only the sheer quantity of milk she produced, but also for its divine taste. His father was the pinnacle of what a top bull was supposed to be: large, muscled, and highly protective of his herd. The two were in high demand by themselves for farmers looking to breed their own herds with them, so it was a no-brainer that they were paired together as well.

It was just a shame that their offspring was such a scrawny little runt. Neither thick and hardy like his mother nor strong and indomitable like his father. No one expected Beau to be worth

much, but he was bought cheap by a kind couple that ran a sanctuary farm. He'd have been well taken care of even if he hadn't warmed their hearts.

When his tits started coming in, no one expected much, and especially not after they then shrunk a bit after starting T. But everyone was left in surprise when he reached adulthood and they attempted to milk him for the first time. There wasn't much, barely a gallon each day. But the taste…

It was rich with creamy smoothness and undertones of lavender from his overconsumption of the flowers. It was also much higher in vitamins and protein than from most other cows. Before long, Beau's milk became in very high demand despite the scarcity.

And Beau himself became of high interest to breeders. Thankfully, his owners have been very picky on who exactly gets to breed their precious boy to the point where no one thus far had lived up to their standards.

That didn't stop them from preparing him for the possibility, though. They provided him with a plethora of wonderful toys, and Beau loved to occupy his spare time with them. However, he was bemoaned at not experiencing the real thing.

Often he found himself on his milking bench, pumps working his teats with a second machine fucking a dildo into him, that he looked longingly into the fields nearby. His barn just so happened to be next to the bulls’ pasture. Beau would longingly gaze out to the various studs and

watch as they wrestled, raced, or just strolled on by. Their ample cocks would bounce with each movement, the small shorts issued to them offering very little in terms of privacy.

It was one such day that Beau was looking outside when a trailer was brought into the pasture. He couldn't see what was going on, but loud clangs and viscous cries were heard before a bull was pulled out of the metal transport. The new stranger was massive and somehow still stronger than he looked, needing eight farmlands and three tranquilizers to subdue him from his introductory rampage.

Beau came three times later that night to the fantasy of that out of control bull holding him down and plowing into him.

It was several days after when he was laid over his milking bench as usual. The farmhand's firm but gentle grip massaged his small mounds in preparation to be milked. The peaks of his nipples stood at attention as they dangled below. His jiggly pecs were given a quick wipe before teat cups were suctioned on. They'd yet to start pumping yet, though. There were still a few steps yet to be taken.

Beau's little cow print shorts were pulled down over his thigh high stockings and off his feet. The fat head of a vibrator was pushed up against his own fat head dangling between his legs. Already, he couldn't help to preemptively grind against the still object. His tail whipped around in so much arousal that the farmhand had to hold it still by grasping the base in order to push his favorite plug into his ass.

He let out a small moo as he wiggled his hips in anticipation for his favorite dildo. His hole was already dripping, moisture leftover from his wet dream last night. But the blunt head never came. Curious, he made to look over his shoulder only to have his collar clip into the bench before he could.

“Sorry, buddy, but we need you to stay still today,” the farmhand said with a smile. “We finally found a breeder for you! Aren't you excited?”

He certainly was! Beau squirmed with so much anticipation that he needed to be restrained even further. Straps wrapped around his thighs to keep them spread and open. A set of cuffs kept his hands in place along a support bar just under the headrest. His tail whipped from side to side, only pausing momentarily so the farmhand could slather a hearty amount of lube to his already dripping hole.

At that point, the vibrator turned on. It buzzed low and slow like always, but Beau's erect cock was already so sensitive. He let out a whine as he tried his best to hump against the bulb, his ass tightening around the plug inside and his hole attempting to clench around nothing. The poor farmhand tried to shush and calm him, but Beau was making so much noise with his desperate whines and moos. A bit gag had to be put in place just to muffle the degenerate sounds.

A few more farmhands entered the milking stall. Beau saw their reflection in the glass window, wondering why there were so many. Each held a thick leather lead steady as heavy footsteps
