It names #mCODE and #USCDI, not #FHIR or #CQL. But hose are the natural fit.

If the bill passes and ONC picks open standards, every certified US EHR gets an engine for shareable guideline logic. That is the infrastructure computable guidelines have been missing.

Prior auth readiness is bigger than API readiness.

Payers and MSOs also need connected data, clear documentation rules, provider-friendly workflows, denial visibility, and strong reporting.

Social care referrals can now speak healthcare's language.
One Degree's #FHIR integration is live, built on the Gravity Project's #SDOH standards with @elimu-informatics.bsky.social and supported by California's DxF. Two-way, real-time referral status. about.1degree.org/our-fhir-int... #SocialCare

Wearable hardware is solved. The semantic translation is broken.

You can track HRV nightly, but if that data doesn't map to standards like FHIR or SNOMED CT, it's invisible to your physician.

We are building the open-source semantic bridge to fix this. ⌚️

A text-based graphic from the Self Research Institute, titled "THE 2026 WEARABLE PARADOX." The main headline states that wearable hardware is more capable than ever, but the resulting data is increasingly fragmented. The infographic has two sections contrasting current states:

1. **HARDWARE -> Solved.** "Sleep architecture and heart rate variability, tracked every night."
2. **SEMANTIC TRANSLATION -> Broken.** "Without mapping to FHIR or SNOMED CT, the data is functionally invisible to your physician."

A bold tagline in a dark banner across the center declares, "THAT IS THE INFRASTRUCTURE WE ARE BUILDING." The footer provides the Institute's website (WWW.SELFRESEARCH.ORG) and its SRI logo.

Healthcare data shouldn't be trapped in silos. 🩺

FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) is the standard helping healthtech systems speak the same language.

FHIR and HL7v2 play different roles in healthcare interoperability. HL7v2 supports legacy clinical systems, while FHIR enables modern, API-driven data exchange. Understanding both helps healthcare IT leaders build connected, scalable systems.

#CQL is an open language for clinical logic. Quality measures. Decision support. Computable guidelines. Cohorts. Readable for authors, executable for systems.

Older than the #FHIR boom. Not married to FHIR either. But most energy is on CQL with FHIR now, via big quality measurement efforts.

CQL on FHIR is in balloting now, CQL version 2 has been released last month as a standard for trial use.
