FFXIV PVP Mini-Tip #3: All about Chiten.

Everyone knows the terror of the Samurai 1-shot Limit Break, but do you know that's not the 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 reason it's scary?

Let's break down what you need to know about Chiten.

Samurai's ability "Chiten" can act as a hard counter towards most classes with Multi-hit attacks, such as Viper and Bard. Viper's Limit Break attacks if they aren't careful, can chunk their HP bar quickly by constantly striking Samurai's counter. Bard's can potentially hit themselves for 19k worth of damage using Harmonic Arrow against a Viper with Chiten up.The 25% Damage increase from Kuzushi also applies to your counter. For example, if you use Harmonic Arrow, you'll take 4000 potency worth of damage for the first arrow, and 5000 for the subsequent 3. Bringing the total amount of damage you dealt to yourself to 19k.
