Absolutely not. Shea is scared of these moments and how easy it is for the strong to snuff out life. He participates in them but he doesn't enjoy them. Zenos fails to understand this in both Stormblood and Endwalker.

Shea is the worst person to take care of when he's sick because he will work himself to death if left alone and he will try EVERYTHING to work/do shit and convince you he's fine.

Rael has to wrap him up like a cat burrito when he's conscious to prevent this.

Shea is rarely seen as the Warrior of Light to strangers as they picture Ardbert or Meteor-san.

But when he is recognized as the hero/Warrior of Light he reacts like this

Now if Shea's inner circle kept their memories he would be fine with it. He could always choose not to help or go help like before, the people he loves and love him are there waiting for him.

Shea steals Rael's shirts ALL THE TIME at home. They even split a pj set where he wears the shirt and Rael gets the pants. He doesn't need an reason and does this DAILY.

Rael uses a forbidden spell at the end of EW to bring Shea back from the dead. He essentially cut his own lifespan in half and tied it to Shea's so they will die at the same time.

Shea does outlive his family though. (+)
