Glorious morning border work with the team

Thanks to Steve, Val, David, Archie, Jim, Karen, Chi, Lucy, Nad and James this morning - another glorious morning defining the border and planting spring bulbs. So much achieved …🌱 #festivalgardens #liverpoolparks #volunteering

The liriope muscari (lily tuft) in the Japanese Garden is in bloom - flowering much better after all the hard work the volunteers did earlier in the year, trimming, weeding and dividing! #FestivalGardens #LiverpoolParks @lpoolcouncil.bsky.social

Thanks to our wonderful volunteers this sunny morning- we freed this flowering cherry from brambles, weeded and planted… #FestivalGardens #volunteering

Thank you to Steve, Matt, Val, Chi and Penny this morning. The rain stayed off so we managed to plant up two areas - behind the Chinese pagoda and the bridge border. Happy birthday 🎂 to Matt who brought cake! #Liverpool #Parks #FestivalGardens
