#SomethingCompletelyDifferent
Have you ever taken a close look at the top of old #FencePosts? They often reveal fascinating miniature 'landscapes', for example this one for #FencePostFriday.
You may need to zoom in to understand what I mean.

Cattle gate in the hills of San Luis Obispo

#ECK #CattleGate #FencepostFriday #ClassicMono #LandscapePhotography #Photography #WestCoastKin

Black and white closeup of a metal cattle gate that has two doors, locked together with a chain and padlock, forming an angle coming towards the camera. Beyond the gate are rolling hills with fog hovering on the hilltops. There is a barbed wire fence going up the hill from the cattle gate. The gate's paint is chipped and some corrosion has set in on the gate and chain.

Cattle fence in the hills of San Luis Obispo.

#ECK #ClassicMono #Photography #LandscapePhotography #WestCoastKin #Clous #Hiking

Black and white image of a cattle fence comprised of a variety of materials. To the left is a metal cattle gate attached to a weathered wooden fence post that has barbed wire and rope wrapped around it. Proceeding to the right, the fence becomes a sad tangle of barbed wire, propped up by wood and rope. The next wooden fence post has one side painted white, with white stripes on the adjacent side. From that point, the fence continues as barbed wire attached to thin metal posts. The fence serves to keep cattle in the area on the other side of the fence (no cattle are present at the moment). It also serves as the border of the Laguna Lake Open Space and private land. In the background are hills darkened by the overhead dramatic clouds.
