The Moon Fell Down
The moon did not set. It came down, dragging the dark earth with it.

A stark monochrome surreal horror scene shows an enormous cratered moon hanging impossibly low over a barren rural landscape. The moon dominates nearly the entire upper half of the image, its pale, detailed surface sharply visible against a black, star-speckled sky. In front of it, a gigantic tangled mass of earth, roots, and dead trees appears to have been ripped from the ground and suspended in midair. Long bare branches claw outward across the moon while soil, dust, and debris spill downward into a dense haze. Below, an isolated human figure in dark clothing walks toward the phenomenon along a bleak, frost-covered road, emphasizing its immense scale. A weathered wooden farmhouse leans beside the road on the left, while a smaller collapsing structure and utility pole emerge from the mist on the right. Windblown dust obscures the horizon and swirls around the lone figure, leaving the landscape caught between a winter storm and an impossible celestial catastrophe.
