@emilytaylor0001.bsky.socialStanley Kubrick's final movie still sparks massive debate. Tom Cruise plunges into a terrifying secret society after one painful confession. Masterpiece or overrated? 👇 #EyesWideShut #TomCruise
@moviemikec.bsky.socialWhen I saw #EyesWideShut in the theater in 1999, which was released after Kubrick died, my thought was "And so Stanley Kubrick closes out his legendary career." #TCMParty
@millerfilm.bsky.socialIt seems appropriate that the final word ever spoken in a Kubrick film is "fuck."
@millerfilm.bsky.socialDr. Bill drives a Range Rover. Because, of course Dr. Bill drives a Range Rover.

@millerfilm.bsky.socialAlmost as hot as Nick Nightingale and his band.
@millerfilm.bsky.social"Eyes Wide Shut" is a Christmas movie. 🎄 🎅
@jk4pghpa.bsky.socialI wonder how many Miles Dr Bill has walked around in this? #TCMParty #EyesWideShut
@millerfilm.bsky.social"I had such a horrible dream. I turned in my film to the studio and they instantly wanted to put CGI people in it."
@submergingartist.bsky.social@millerfilm.bsky.socialWhat this party needs is an appearance by Leonard Grossman, Cruise's alter ego from "Tropic Thunder."
@jk4pghpa.bsky.socialI was going to pop in the Unrated Cut of the Film I have on DVD but the extra footage is almost nothing but not having CGI covering something that would not cut it for a R Rated Movie. It was not worth the trouble. #EyesWideShut #TCMParty
@submergingartist.bsky.social@millerfilm.bsky.socialTime for a Second Unit Cab Ride.
@submergingartist.bsky.socialThe first time I saw this scene I thought “Oh, so THIS is what happened to Joel Goodson after he graduated from Princeton.” I still stand by it. #EyesWideShut #TCMParty
@millerfilm.bsky.socialAnd the only two songs his fans know. 😉
@millerfilm.bsky.socialEver since Kubrick started with his staying with the "temp music" as the music for his films, he did the right thing.
Wendy Carlos coming in to adapt music in "A Clockwork Orange" and compose music for "The Shining" were excellent exceptions.
@jk4pghpa.bsky.socialIn this Movie if someone says they are going to The Bathroom if they are going to it for a Booty Call instead. #TCMParty #EyesWideShut
@millerfilm.bsky.socialDoes Tom get to run in this film? Isn't he required by law to run in any film he is in? 🤔
