I finished #Evangeline this morning. It was like I'd never really read it at all, back in 7th grade. In the beginning the English soldiers torch the town of Grand Pre so the cattle & horses run from the flames. That was the scene I illustrated in art class. The rest was all new to me.

This evening's word is "refluent" which, tho I thought I had the gist of it, I wanted to look up to be sure. It is a lovely word, 'Comes from the Latin word refluere, meaning "to flow back",' which is delightful.
