There isn't just one beginning. There's yours. Somewhere, on a still blank page in your May 2029 diary, you'll decide: when does my EuroPride start?

A EuroPride doesn’t begin with its opening ceremony. It begins with the first welcome. Being a host, to us, isn’t the moment we greet you. It’s the moment you start looking forward to the journey.
From here on, we want to walk with you. Every step of the way.

We could have kept our EuroPride to Dresden. But a bridge doesn’t do its job where it starts — it does its job where it reaches people. Some ideas need a city. Ours needs an entire region.

Why Dresden? We’ve asked ourselves that question many times. Not because Dresden is beautiful. Many cities are. The real question is what story Dresden can tell that Europe needs today.
