A strong Ocean Act must move beyond coordination & ensure effective management, enforcement, & monitoring of MPAs to support a sustainable blue economy.

We’re calling on EU decision-makers this #EUOceanWeek to defend the deep and support a precautionary pause on deep-sea mining and an end to bottom trawling on high-seas seamounts by 2027.

From the surface to the seafloor, we must protect our ocean.

The EU often claims ocean leadership, but leaders don't just speak, they act.

An ambitious #EUOceanAct must move from words to action by creating exclusive coastal fishing zones, reserved for low-impact and small-scale fishers only.
