As a guy with a diesel truck who lives in Accomack in #VA02 on the #ESVA, just for funsies I calculated what Trump’s diesel tax is costing me annually- It’s right around $4,000/yr at current prices.
That’s right about 5% of AMI in Accomack just in additional _personal_ transportation costs.

$6.50 here on the #ESVA.
Between that and ICE and the delayed USACE dredging, it’s not great.

They’re here on the #ESVA, home of Perdue, Tyson, Montaire, and Sysco, and a big producer of other ag products.
ICE is coming for just about grocery item produced domestically in your shopping cart.

It's just an inconvenience for a few days. I'm glad it's not any worse.

Day 2 of being flooded in here on Chesconessex Creek. We frequently get water from the bay on the road, but erry once in a while, a confluence of wind, rain, and tides puts a couple of feet up on the road. Backyard is seeing encroachment now, too.
