Travel sketchbook with “esgrafiado Segoviano” handwritten on it and 8 square blocks arranged on the page. The blocks contain watercolor paintings of various patterns found on the exterior walls of old buildings in Segovia, Spain. The 8 patterns are based on the following shapes: concentric circles; flowers; parallel and perpendicular wavy lines; fleur-de-lis; interlocked circles; pin wheels; flowers surrounded by curved lines; and diamonds with crosses and French curves.
