A suspect was caught while allegedly trying to withdraw money linked to an EPPO investigation into more than €300,000 from Poland’s EU-supported Clean Air programme. Prosecutors allege forged documents and misuse of over 12 homeowners’ identities. The case remains under investigation. #EPPO

Kallas suggested handing oversight of sanctions circumventions cases to the #EPPO. The Luxembourg-based body would investigate those shipping sensitive trade goods that could be used by Moscow’s war machine or laundering money for the Kremlin. /2

EPPO and China’s highest prosecutorial authority have established a direct cooperation framework on organised crime affecting the EU budget, money laundering, corruption and asset recovery. A joint 2026–2028 action plan will turn the arrangement into practical working procedures. #EPPO
