Defy Danger has done some deep harm to the #PbtA design space.

When I found myself needing something akin to Act Under Fire/Defy Danger for #ENTOMBED, I came up with this: ++

Make or Break When you’re struggling to persevere over an overwhelming situation mark 1-unrest and roll+Steel. On a 10+ you soldier on. On a 7-9 choose one: ◆ You’re disoriented, suffer a -2ongoing during this situation. ◆ You’re spooked and can’t support, help or lead any action until you get a breather. ◆ You cower until someone pulls you up. Ask who gets your back. You owe them now. On a 12+, you come out stronger, mark advancement.

Did a mid-campaign system check-in with my dragonslayers playtest crew for #ENTOMBED
