A playful blue komainu I made out of a low-fire red clay! He was one of my favorites 🥹
Another jade-colored komainu!
This one is glazed with PC-45 Dark Green from AMACO.
A komainu I glazed with the same glaze combination as the Jupiter vase I made. I really love the aged look!!
8 ceramic tea pets!! Someone that came to our booth back in July asked if I had any tea pets, and unfortunately I didn't! So I made a bunch!
More to come! They are very fun to make!
A small cup I glazed with only Opal Lustre (Mayco) glaze! I really enjoy this look.
A vase I glazed to look like the planet Jupiter!
I became too attached to it, so it is only for display purposes at my booths 😅
I really want to make a set of cups like this!!
Crystalline glazes are a bit finicky, but they are so very cool!! Dark Star from the AMACO Cosmos series is my favorite so far! I love the metallic stars.
Temmoku and Lapis Flow pair well together!
Originally going to be a jar, I decided to make it a small vase instead.
A cup glazed with Opal Lustre(Mayco) and Indigo Float(AMACO)! This glaze combination is really nice! A very cloudy sky look!
Smokey Merlot and Midnight Run glazes go extremely well together!!
Definitely using this glaze combination more in the future! Im curious to see it on a red clay body.
A cup glazed with Ancient Jasper. Its one of my favorite glazes due to how vastly different it can look with different amounts of layers.
I always glaze at least one piece with it when I make a new batch of ceramics!
A cup I glazed with only Lapis Flow. It instantly became one of my favorite glazes, I really like the variation it has over textured surfaces!
I made a 2 piece set of a daruma themed cup and bowl! I made these while I was losing weight as a reminder to keep going! The kanji on the side says 「身体健勝」meaning "Good Health"! I met my weight goal soon after making them, so thank you little daruma!
A salt cellar I made in the form of the Golden Egg from Splatoon for a commission! It was the first jar form I had ever made. It was really fun to make!
A porcelain chicken soap dish!
I'd like to make more breeds of chickens as soap dishes. I really like chickens!
One of the larger pots I've made. I really enjoy how the glazes melted together on this one!
Two of the smallest komainu I have ever made. The one on the left is the smallest I have been able to make them! I ended up keeping him. He currently sits on my desk.
Two smaller komainu made with a low-fire red clay and glazed with LG-46 Leaf Green glaze.
