#ElmerCecilStoner went to work for #JackBinder's studio in 1940, where he worked on #Dell's first superhero, #Phantasmo, who first appeared in #TheFunnies #45 (July 1940). While not confirmed, it is believed Stoner actually invented the character, as no one else drew him after him left.
