God of all creation, you love all that you have made,
blessing all humankind with your image and likeness.
Grant us the wisdom of your heart,
to love the justice you so strongly desire, and to make no peace with racism and hatred,
that in our living, and our loving, all people may know the joy of being a child of God,
and the freedom of belonging to the diverse Body of Christ.
Amen.Dduw’r holl greadigaeth, rwyt ti’n caru pob dim a greaist,
ac yn bendithio’r holl ddynoliaeth â’th lun a’th ddelw dy hun.
Dyro inni ddoethineb dy galon,
i garu’r cyfiawnder rwyt ti’n ei ddeisyfu mor gryf, ac i ymwrthod â hiliaeth a chasineb,
fel y byddo ein byw, a’n cariad, yn dwyn eraill i brofi’r llawenydd o fod yn blentyn i Dduw,
a’r rhyddid a ddaw drwy berthyn i Gorff amrywiol Crist.
Amen.

White text reads: “The Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross is celebrated every year on 14th September. According to Christian tradition, the True Cross was discovered in 326 by Saint Helena, the mother of the Roman Emperor Constantine the Great, during a pilgrimage she made to Jerusalem. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre was then built at the site of the discovery. The Cross of Wales has a fragment of this True Cross in it, donated by the Vatican. Dethlir Gŵyl Dyrchafiad y Groes Sanctaidd bob blwyddyn ar 14 Medi. Yn ôl traddodiad Cristnogol, darganfuwyd y Groes Wir yn 326 gan Santes Helena, mam yr Ymerawdwr Rhufeinig Cystennin Fawr, yn ystod pererindod a wnaeth i Jerwsalem. Yna adeiladwyd Eglwys y Bedd Sanctaidd ar safle'r darganfyddiad. Mae gan Groes Cymru ddarn o'r Groes Wir hon ynddi, a roddwyd gan y Fatican.”
