This error BY SOMEONE ELSE has now bumped me out of the client direct program, meaning I no longer get the karma bonus.

I can now only access science direct journals using Firefox. Chrome just gives a never-ending "r u human?" loop, even in incognito mode.

95% of the time I'm just trying to look at the author guidelines for an #editinghell job. 🙄🤦‍♀️

This is basically what the #editinghell company applies to some jobs before they go a human. This 'assistive' process does a terrible job and has no clue how to handle most academic writing. I usually have to undo >50% of its changes. 🙄🤦‍♀️

Today's mission is to get 3-4 chapters edited by having them read aloud. I don't feel like working today, I'm pushing myself because I have 50 pages left in this edit. Wish me luck! #writer #editinghell #writermissions

I read a looooot of seismic inversion papers in the #editinghell gig...how robust are those techniques (it's often hard for me to tell in the context of the work being done bc they'll put the methods in a supplement that's not included, but there seems to be a *lot* of handwaving in most of them)?

Recently did a 13k+ job for the #editinghell company...basically a last-ditch effort to please a client. Was asked to work on it by my contact. Made $165 for it. Probably saved the account. Now being chided for the absolute dumbest shit imaginable and trying to ding my quality score for no reason.🙄

I'm attempting to write all 30 days of Sept. Not writing exactly, but hardcore editing - draft 4. I'm hoping to be done with 30 chapters by month end. So far, so good. But it's only been 6 days. Will also attempt daily check-in.
