You literally jumped in my mentions to tell me how to advocate.
Imagine being vegan for 30 years just to act as a human shield for people funding slaughterhouses, then running away when called out. Good riddance. #ecopunk
Every second you waste debating my tactics is a second spent giving non-vegans a pass to ignore their own choices.
"Questioning approach" is just respectability politics with better branding. Focus your energy on the people funding slaughterhouses, not the ones confronting them. #ecopunk
You've been vegan 30 years and your priority is still defending a non-vegan's feelings over confronting animal abuse?
She funds slaughterhouses multiple times a day. Stop tone-policing the people calling it out and hold the actual abuser accountable. #ecopunk
Speaking of the "aesthetics of knowledge" without truth: shame on every climate scientist who isn't vegan.
You can't lecture on automated denialism while actively funding animal ag driving ~14.5% of total global emissions.
Are you vegan? #ecopunk
I'm a left-leaning anarchist.
That doesn’t mean my own side is immune to criticism.
The right are objectively wrong, but on animal agriculture, the left & right are nearly identical.
To fight systemic oppression, stop sharing a plate with the opposition. Go vegan.
"Fake meat is corporate," "Crop deaths happen," "Humans come first."
None of it holds up.
80% of soy feeds livestock, plant-based capitalism isn't veganism, & solidarity isn't a zero-sum game.
Stop using bad-faith logic to defend/justify corporate animal exploitation & slaughter.
Living with Bipolar 1 & CPTSD, I take disability seriously.
What I won't accept is bad-faith actors using neurodivergence to shield an industry that explicitly causes PTSD, severe trauma, & chronic disability in slaughterhouse labor.
Neurodivergent people can be vegan, I'm one of them.
Food deserts are a real systemic injustice, but weaponizing them to excuse your own diet when you have full grocery access is weaponized class politics, not solidarity.
Whole plant staples like beans, rice, & lentils remain the cheapest food on Earth.
Socialism won't magically make slaughterhouses ethical.
Leftists/democrats rightly argue for systemic change over individual action, but you can't build a liberated world while fueling a death machine that exploits & slaughters billions annually.
Prefigure a world worth fighting for.
Industrial animal ag is the ultimate endpoint of capitalist commodification, turning living, sentient beings into mere line items & units of production.
True anti-capitalism requires rejecting the commodification of all living sentient beings, human & non-human.
The meat industry drives global food imperialism.
Millions of acres in the Global South are cleared for cattle feed to supply wealthy nations, leaving local populations displaced and food insecure.
Not being vegan is imperialist & funds global land grabs.
The meat industry relies on the prison-industrial complex.
Incarcerated workers are funneled into high-hazard slaughterhouse jobs and livestock farms for pennies an hour, or nothing at all.
Prison abolition & animal liberation share the same fight against forced labor.
