What's your superpower?

“If the world were merely seductive, that would be easy. If it were merely challenging, that would be no problem. But I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day.” - #EBWhite (died: 1 October 1985)

"I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day."

✒ #EBWhite, American author (Charlotte's Web; Stuart Little) and essayist, #DOTD 1 October 1985. #Literature

The last few nights I accidentally destroyed her web. Last night she redesigned the structure leaving me space to lean over the deck. I'll do my best to remember, Charlotte.

Charlotte's Web is my measure of a person's humanity. #spiders #CharlottesWeb #EBWhite

I admire anybody who has the guts to write anything at all.
