Eagles and Nabokov suffer their first loss of the season as the Canucks take this one 4-3. Eagles dont pay again until Friday on the road. #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

Eagles net is empty #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

Eagles are on the PK with 5:22 left after Nielsen heads to the box for delay of game. It doesnt take long for the Canucks to convert after winning the faceoff and scoring on the first shot #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

ALEX GAGNE down below the goal line grabs the rebound and tucks it home to tie the game late in the game for his first of the season! Adam Beckman (1), Tristen Nielsen (2) on the assists #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

These are the things that make the AHL great #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

Abbotsford takes the lead back on this goal. Even had to be discussed by the refs after a hit at the top of the zone and then possible goaltender interference. #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

Egles are now 1/17 on the PP to start the season. They had no SOG in the one to start the third #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

Eagles will start the period on the PP. They are 0/1 so far tonight #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

The Eagles had 18 SOG in the 2nd period alone but only got one past Abbotsford in the period. COL will need to get bodies in front of the crease if they want a chance to get ahead here in the 3rd #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

SEAN BEHRENS with his first point and goal of the season! The former @DU_Hockey Pio dips into the slot to finish the rebound to tie the game! Nikita Prishchepov (1), Matt DiMarsico (2) with the assists #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

Eagles are gonna have to solve the scoring problems on even strength tonight. One penalty has been called compared to last night 😬 #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

Kole Lind catches Nabokov going the other way and send the puck past his blocker for his second of the game and and the 2-1 lead for the Canucks #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

One thing I noticed in the first two and half games is that the Eagles have done a tremendous job at reading the pass in the offensive zone. If the opposition has the puck, COL is cutting the pass off to give themselves even more chances #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

Adam Beckman has been showing off his moves in the last four periods with a ton of confidence. #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

end of 1st, tied at 1: Nabokov looks great for his first B2B but they are putting pressure on the crease. The game is not nearly as physical as last night, more speed tonight. Brindley is hungry for goal and it shows. #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

The Eagles have gone 1/16 on the PP to open the season. So it seems that it could be another organizational issue, not just an Avs issue on the PP. Adam Beckman has the only PP goal last night #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

I have been loving the way that Prishchepov has been playing these opening games. He is playing with a ton of spark and is involved in the play every time he is on the ice. He is definitely aware of what he needs to do to move up #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

Nabokov is plowed into so the Canucks head to the box fir interference. Eagles now will get their first PP of the night. #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

Kole Lind responds with a goal for the Canucks and we have a tied game early in the first #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO
