Paragraphs Bundles 2.0 and Views Slideshow VVJS 2.0.1 both target newer Drupal versions, but their upgrade paths are not automatic. Teams need to check schema levels, dependencies, database updates and existing customisations before moving.

Drupal 12.0.0-beta1 missed its scheduled September release week, with several release-preparation tasks still being closed out. No revised beta date is published, while November RC1 and December stable targets remain unchanged.

PHP 8.6 Beta 3 is the final scheduled beta before release candidates begin. Drupal core is already testing against 8.6, but it is not yet listed as supported for Drupal 12 production sites.

Drupal 12.0.0-alpha1 opens compatibility testing for modules and themes. It requires PHP 8.5 and brings major dependency changes, while HTMX 4 is still planned for beta1. Alpha1 is not for production.
