Righteous anger
Inheritance from my father

So I ask the cards
For mine & theirs
How I can move towards
Without some harm

I must dig deep
They need trajectory, a hope
Where this path leads
And I can move
Towards nourishment
The sacred here
This future we can build
Together

Three Oracle cards from the Folklore Iracle deck by Giada Rose sit on a dark green knitted background. The left card is Berries reversed (I never use reversed cards for this deck so I was surprised) reflecting a harvest feared to be poisoned or cursed, a need for discernment and clarity of intentions. The right card is The Well, reflecting being deep in the subconscious and needing to dig deeper when uncertain. Top card is Bread, reflecting a harvest and storing of things for winter or hard times, a call to tune into what is sacred here in the everyday and the work, in what we have put in already, in remembering we are preparing for the future.

looking up the trunk of an eastern juniper (Juniperus virginiana), where you can see the patterns in the bark twist sunwise (clockwise) up towards the top of the treeThe base of the tree also has roots spiraling up to match the direction of the bark.

Intersecting stories of a young monk and a Druidess, one seeking to know his hidden origins, the other seeking to save ancestral ways in Gaul, Britain and Ireland. A must-have for any serious Druidic library. Michael Scharding RDNA
