@xsmootx.bsky.socialI used AI to remix/cover a 40th Anniversary tribute to Double Dare (because I wanted to, okay?!). Consider it a love letter to one my favorite shows from my and may other childhoods growing up. #DoubleDare
@thejeremyleeshow.bsky.socialOn this day in 1986, Double Dare premiered on Nickelodeon! It immediately took off being the first game show for the network and tripled the viewership for their afternoon lineup becoming the highest rated daily original program.
@skaterpaulina.bsky.socialThis past weekend, I celebrated #DoubleDare’s 40th anniversary by going to a special reunion event in Philadelphia, where the show first taped. I met up with Marc and Robin for the first time in 7 years, and I also met original announcer Harvey, plus Double Dare 2000 host Jason Harris. It was epic!

To me, I was doing ‘Jeopardy’ or ‘Wheel Of Fortune’ or ‘The Price Is Right’ or whatever. I just talked to them like they were grown-ups.”
@skaterpaulina.bsky.socialFrom a 1990 episode of Family #DoubleDare, living in New England has its privileges, like knowing the answer to this question!
