Attending tech conferences is fascinating because my Bsky is incredibly anti-AI (I follow tons of writers, artists, etc) but in web dev it is a nearly 100%-accepted tech. It's just assumed you're using it daily. Huge cultural whiplash. #DotJs

Just listened to a vendor presentation at lunch at #DotJS. They handed me some headphones and I said "thanks" and they were like "oh, this one's in french" and I was like "all good!" and I got 100% of it 😊 Finally starting to feel like I might someday be at least decent with this language!

At #DotJS Paris. Nice to be able to take a metro from my house to get to a conference 😄. Looking forward to some great talks!
