This week I've been playing with charcoal - did you know you can paint with it?!

This was the first parcel opened of my #DIYArtAdvent

The first #DIYArtAdvent to be opened by my little helper was charcoal!

We had very messy fun trying it out today.

I'll be exploring it more over next week.

This is what's inside, plus a couple more things I found after I took this photo.

You know how you can get advent calendars of art materials, but they're really expensive for a tiny amount and you probably only like half of it?

I decided to make my own with art materials I already have but don't use much. It looks so pretty! 😄
