Portraits and color exploration of my new Deinonycanis character, Aberra!

You will be seeing more art of her soon, along with a ref in the works.

Aberra. Deinonycanis. She/It pronouns.

Digital portrait drawing of a horrific saurian mammal monster that is a hybrid of dog and raptor, a Deinonycanis. Her name is Aberra and it looks hungry as ever.

The rough leathery skin is a flushing dark tan with highlights of beige. Her eyes are a wild brown with slit pupils staring back at the viewer. She has a scraggly dark brown batch of feathers running along her back, almost like those of a cassowary. Its reptilian muzzle is filled with razor sharp crocodile-like teeth, and the snout ends with a canine nose. It has subtle crests on the snout bridge and eyebrows.
