And just like that, you're broken. Everything you thought you were before, now you're not so sure. Time has paused. Too sad for sleep, too restless for rest, you can neither work nor play, can't plan beyond the thought that your life is over. You'd just like to stop feeling like your heart is rotting in your chest.
