Great psychological and behavioral research focuses on pro-environmental behavior and climate change mitigation. Our symposium complemented this with interdisciplinary views on adaptation

It was a pleasure to be part of the symposium “People’s Understanding of and Response to Extreme Weather Events” at #DGPs2026 last week in Luxembourg. The full room made it clear that there is still much to discuss about how weather extremes impact risk perception and policy preferences. 🌦️📱🚨

Artificial Intelligences and Children - mapping the digital transformation with multiple methods
We just had the opportunity to present novel findings regarding children's AI use at the @dgps-epsy.bsky.social at @dgps.bsky.social #DGPS2026

"Alexa turn on the TV" - children copy how their parents interact with artificial intelligence. The talk by my talented PhD student Sahura Ertuğrul at the @dgps-epsy.bsky.social symposium at #DGPs2026 was a wonderful reminder that we as parents are role models for young children when using AI.

Primary school kids stay fair, even if they see someone being ostracised - towards humans as well as towards robots! This highlights how relevant fairness is at school age. Wonderful talk by my talented PhD candidate Niloofar Goharbakhsh at the @dgps-epsy.bsky.social symposium at #DGPs2026
