@showyalove.bsky.socialFinally got the time to finish it. I liked the movie but the show was so much better! Ended up rooting for both teams ๐ I'm sad that Disney+ dropped it and no one else picked it up but I'm glad it's at least on YouTube and available to watch #bollywooddanceu #bestofthebest #desiwatch
@totallyfilmi.bsky.socialPersonal opinion: Nivin's turn as Nithin Molly in Varshangalkku Shesham was the best part of that film. #DesiWatch
@totallyfilmi.bsky.socialI love all the birthday mashups. #DesiWatch
@totallyfilmi.bsky.socialGuess what day it is? Oh, yes, Thanksgiving, yes, but. Also. HOUSE FAVE NIVIN PAULY'S BIRTHDAY! And I love a birthday mashup. #DesiWatch

@totallyfilmi.bsky.socialOh, hey, remember when Vineeth Sreenivasan had a blog? #DesiWatch vineethsreenivasan.wordpress.com/category/tha...
@totallyfilmi.bsky.social(Aside, you remember Abhinav Sunder Nayak, yes? He went on to direct Mukundan Unni Associates. Starring? Vineeth Sreenivasan. #DesiWatch
@totallyfilmi.bsky.socialAnd B. because Thira was a dark, challenging film that was a break from Vineeth Sreenivasan's typical feel-good style, and he has talked about it taking a toll on him. Oh, and the trailer? Cut by the assistant director of the film, Abhinav Sunder Nayak. #DesiWatch
@totallyfilmi.bsky.socialI think if I were to recommend another Vineeth Sreenivasan movie, it would be his third film, Thira, starring Shobana and debuting his brother, Dhyan (Interview Star)Sreenivasan. Notable because A. he got Shobana to dub for herself for the first time in her career....#DesiWatch
@totallyfilmi.bsky.socialDoes anyone else remember awards shows from around that time, where they'd get Nivin up on stage just to deliver that line? I can't find it anywhere, but I know I saw it back then, when we had Asianet on our cable. And that, people, was the sensation that was Nivin Pauly. TY, Vineeth. #DesiWatch
@totallyfilmi.bsky.socialAnd the trailer ends with the line that became oh so famous: เดเดณเต เด เดคเดเตเดเดฎเดฟเดเตเดเต เดเดดเดฟเดเตเดเดพเตฝ เดเดจเตเดฑเต เดธเดพเดฑเต, เดชเดฟเดจเตเดจเต เดเตเดฑเตเดฑเตเดฎเตเดณเตเดณเดคเตเดจเตเดจเตเด เดเดพเดฃเดพเตป เดชเดฑเตเดฑเตเดฒ? -- "Sir, once she wears that veil (thattam), how is it that I can't see anything else around her?" #DesiWatch
@totallyfilmi.bsky.socialI managed to find the trailer for Thattathin Marayathu, which was cut by Alphonse Puthren (who gave Nivin another film that caused a sensation, Premam). #DesiWatch
@totallyfilmi.bsky.socialVineeth Sreenivasan was also the singer of "Shyamambaram", along with "Anuraagathin Velayil". And, of course, he wrote and directed Thattathin Marayathu, his second film after Malarvaadi Arts Club. #DesiWatch
