#DeathNoteTheMusical is so damn good. Run, don't walk to see it. I need to consume more of it.

I went to see the Death Note musical a little while ago and started this art right after! I'm glad I'm not the only one going through a #Lawlight phase in 2026 🍎

Partly inspired by the cool angular Barbican stage setup~

#deathnote #deathnotethemusical #lightyagami #llawliet

A fully-rendered painting of Light Yagami and L Lawliet from Death Note doing the tango. Light looks angrily at L and L looks away sadly. They are handcuffed together on the side facing away from the viewer, with the chain dangling to the side as they spin. The background is a red and blue gradient. They are framed by an asymmetrical rectangle of white light.

Had a great time at #DeathNoteTheMusical last night! Still thinking about how exceptional Borrowed Time and When Love Comes were. Some of the changes since the concert were great, others less so, but it's still a mighty hurricane of a show!
