There's a trend in Kdrama that turns me off completely. I call it abuse porn. It's there in historical dramas #DearHongrang (regretted watching) & modern "romance" & school dramas. Some people like it. I think cheap thrills are bad writing, as opposed to violence that's creatively part of a story.

It's quite out there for a Kdrama. I can understand people not liking it. I loathed #DearHongrang - abuse porn as I call it - but regretfully watched it for #LeeJaeWook because missing him since #AlchemyofSouls. I do believe Netflix Kdrama is skewing for Western tastes including sex & violence.
