I found myself breathless & riveted during some of his free ascents, even tho I know how his story ended but jeeeeepers he was astonishing.

when he cried after the rope walk in China I felt it in the very heart of me.

watcing "The Dark Wizard" on HBO while lying down on the couch is pretty intense. I mean, this Dean Potter dude is free-soloing and base jumping & getting all amped up by and in that intense lifestyle and all I'm tryna do is have a relaxing Thursday afternoon.
