Hmmm... either Kai is very short for an Aumaua or my elf lady Envoy is very tall haha~

My Watcher doesn't even reach either Aumaua's shoulders.Screenshot from Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire, showing the height difference between my female elf Watcher and her two Aumaua companions (Maia Rua and Tekēhu). Sanza! I heard about this guy's cartography quest in Avowed, and I just found him in PoE2!
It feels like I just found his humble beginnings, especially since I just started his Deadfire cartography quest, which seems to have brought Sanza great success in Avowed~

Sanza (Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire): "Oh! Hello! Welcome to my shop! It's such a pleasure to see a new face!" *Sanza bounces back on his heels, a wide grin plastered on his worn face.* Sanza: "How might I assist you?" Morna (Watcher of Caed Nua): "What do you do here?" Sanza: "Oh, I'm a cartographer! I make maps. I'm not half-bad at it, either – and may the gods forgive my immodesty for saying so." Sanza: "If you need a map of any settled region of the Deadfire, I'm your man. And my commission rates are quite generous."Sanza (Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire): "[I'm not exactly the most powerful fighter, or I'd do it all myself.] Still... wouldn't it be wonderful? An explorer's guide to the Deadfire! Someday..." Morna (Watcher of Caed Nua): "I've got a bold heart and a ship. Need a hand?" Sanza: "Do you mean it? This is - wow! I can't thank you enough!" Sanza: "It's a lot of ground- I mean, water - to cover, and some of these islands are in very dangerous waters." *Despite his words, the gleeful expression on Sanza's face has not faded.* Sanza: "Nothing that's going to stop a seasoned captain like yourself, of course! Oh, I can't wait. I've planned this all out."Sanza (Avowed): "But to meet you! What an honor. Who is your patron? Were you drawn to this place?" Envoy of Aedyr: [Intellect 4/4] "I know you! You mapped the Deadfire!"Sanza: ["Oho! So you are familiar with my work? It's a pleasure to meet one as cultured as you."] "It was arduous work, but I couldn't have done it without help. Speaking of which..."

I was looking through my previous PoE2 screenshots to get a reminder of what I was doing since I last played the game in May. I forgot that the game just randomly let me steal from my homie, Edér, for some reason 😭 #PillarsOfEternity #Deadfire

Edér Teylecg: "Hey, I wanted to ask you something. It's about Xoti." PC Response 1: "What did you want to ask?" PC Response 2: [Pick his pocket while he's distracted.] PC Response 3: "Not right now."*You have gained 50 copper.* *You have gained an item: Whiteleaf. The item was put into your stash.*

I got Edér's bromance convo AND Aloth's romance convo back-to-back and this is what it felt like.

A flat-colored digital sketch featuring (from left to right) Aloth Corfiser, Morna (my Watcher of Caed Nua OC), and Edér Teylecg, from Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire. Aloth and Morna share a gentle kiss, while Morna sticks her hand out behind her to receive a high-five from her enthusiastically supportive wingman, Edér.

Earlier this year, I commissioned @margawart.bsky.social to paint these lovely portraits of my Watcher OC, Morna!

Thank you again! I'll cherish these forever~
