It's a matter of right vs. wrong, democracy vs. colonialism, fairness vs. injustice. Sen. Kelly needs to stand up for democracy and the people of D.C.

The Constitution’s principles DEMAND #DCStatehood, & its details do NOT undercut it. DC must be of a size "not exceeding" 10 sq miles, but there's NO minimum size. The words "not exceeding" OK creation of a tiny fed core & the rest becomes a state!
