Otd in 1985, Barnsley played leaders Portsmouth at Oakwell in Division 2. A mediocre performance resulted in a 1-0 defeat. The bright spot was 17 year old David Hirst in just his 5th first team appearance. #ManchesterUnited were amongst the clubs at the game watching him. #BarnsleyFC #DavidHirst
