"Elvis came to the studio one day, and he said, 'I've got a song for you.' And he gave me a cassette. Now, it wasn't very good - it was just him on a guitar, and he was rushing through it at a furious pace. At first I couldn't see it." - #DaveEdmunds

In The Rock 9/29/1979: Dave Edmunds throws his pal Declan McManus a bone when he records “Girls Talk”, and takes it to #65 on the pop chart. #DaveEdmunds #RockHonorRoll #ThrowingBones

It includes half covers, half originals (mostly) written by Cyril Jordan and Chris Wilson. Again priduced by #DaveEdmunds. Not to miss if you love The Flamin' Groovies.

Shake some action wit #theFlaminGroovies!
These two are classics!
I first heard the Flamin' Groovies' 'Still Shakin'', the record that was released in 1976 (also in Yugoslavia), but these two are classics, produced by almighty #DaveEdmunds in Rockfield Studios.

Sabre Dance - Love Sculpture (Dave Edmunds)

Dave Edmunds recorded many versions of this classic track, it was hard to pick out a definitive version, but here he is with the band tearing it up. #daveedmunds #lovesculpture
