The frames of my Hassy backs seem to be closer to 54.5mm rather than 56mm. I'm not sure if there is any variance between the various iterations of the backs, but all mine seem to be the same.
@bitbybitphoto.comWe're aware that the feet on the bottom of our Simpleasels haven't been stellar lately. We think a change was made to the adhesive at some point. We may have found ones that work much much better.
Anyway we're working on it and hope to have a solution soon!
@bitbybitphoto.comHere's a potential improvement for the thicker carriers. This is the back of a 23C bottom which has a flared inlay. The idea is to reduce the thickness of the carrier around the film gate. With the flared top, this should sharpen up the shadows projected onto the baseboard.
