A dim, eerie laundromat stretches into the distance beneath cold fluorescent ceiling panels. Along the right side, two stacked rows of industrial front-loading washing machines form a long wall of white metal and reflective chrome doors. The nearest upper machine stands open, its large circular doorway filled with almost complete darkness. From deep inside the drum, a small pale humanoid face peers outward, with an oversized smooth head, large black almond-shaped eyes, a tiny nose, and a narrow mouth. Farther down the row, another washer door reflects a ghostly white, humanlike silhouette. On the left, a tall figure dressed entirely in dark clothing stands beside the machines, its head and face completely concealed beneath hanging black fabric. The figure holds a large bundle of rumpled white laundry in both hands, creating a stark contrast against its shadowed body. Loose white clothing spills from several lower machines and lies scattered across the worn floor. At the far end of the laundromat, large windows reveal a wet night outside, with rain-speckled glass and blurred lights glowing beyond. Green-blue illumination washes across the room, while chrome rims catch narrow highlights, giving the ordinary laundromat an unsettling, otherworldly presence.
