Currently reading my first Daniel Kehlmann. This is a lot creepier than I expected! Are all his books like this? #currentlyreading #booksky #horrorbook #danielkehlmann

Daniel Kehlmann – The Director (2025). A fictionalised account of the life of German film director G. W. Pabst during World War II. The strongest sections employ a very black sense of humour. Elsewhere, deliberately jarring tonal shifts seem designed to make the reader uncomfortable. #DanielKehlmann
