The second paragraph has a painful truth in it. However, i do account #Cypriots the responsibility of having to #act more rationally. As a Cypriot, i recognize the fact, we lost a war and 33+% of Cyprus land. But we negotiate as #conquerors ! It's not how it works. With my 2 cents opinion that is

#Greek #Cypriots tend to settle where there are established #Greek communities, and these surroundings help immigrants become accustomed to the new culture

#Turkish American immigration, is not well documented. It is assumed that the #Turkish #Cypriots who came to the United States between 1820 and 1860 were fleeing religious or political persecution

#Turkish #Cypriots value a society in which roles are clearly defined. For example, they regard public service as a more prestigious (though poor-paying) occupation than a successful business career
