After fully sanding I stained it with some minwax red oak 215 stain, which is my go to dark stain. No prestain conditioner to make sure the grain popped. Finished with minwax gloss brush on poly.
Holy... that fire grain rocks! Whoa!

I stripped the paint and OMG! 🔥 Check the grain on that front panel. 😍
Pretty sure the front is maple and the rest is doulas fir.

A little repurposed restoration 🧵
(This is So Cool!)

My neighborhood was developed in the 40s. So whenever I see curb debris from a kitchen renovation I always look for drawers. They are typically made from old growth wood which usually has lots of great grain and figure.

Hmmm I think I might need a bigger trailer. 😁 #Biking #Curbfind

Picture of a bike parked on a sidewalk with a cargo trailer behind it. In the background behind the trailer is a weathered longboard surfboard that is many time the length of the trailer.Picture showing the other side of the surfboard with the bike trailer behind it.

Banger of a morning walk curb find. It’s wild out there. 🤣
