With the #CUBuffs and #CSURams off this week, it's the perfect time to spotlight a local prep star.

How it all looked in today's @denvergazette.com ⬇️

Jim Mora says the #CSURams have moved past the Tyson Summers situation and is focused on improving the defense over these next two "mini byes." Rams have just 1 game in a span of 19 days and a chance to make necessary changes.

Some updates from #CSURams HC Jim Mora during bye week:

- "Chapter has close" with Tyson Summers situation, said “No” when asked if he wished he handled things differently
- RB Mel Brown back at practice today after being taken to hospital during game last week
- QB Hauss Hejny working on the side

Always appreciate having @kgh23.bsky.social pitch in on CFB coverage. Here's his story from tonight in Fort Collins as a mid-game defensive coordinator change highlights another bad loss for the #CSURams, who have lost 3 straight.

Jim Mora says postgame that Tyson Summers was relieved of defensive play-calling duties and left the field. He's no longer with the #CSURams program.

USA Network broadcast says Tyson Summers is no longer on #CSURams sideline and CO-DC Kenny McClendon is calling defensive plays.

Halftime in Fort Collins: Oregon State 35, Colorado State 14

The #CSURams defensive woes have not been solved. In fact, it may be worse. The Beavers have 385 yards and TDs on 5 of 6 drives. CSU has over 100 rushing yards, but it doesn't matter when the other team can score like that.

I guess OSU can run pick plays now. Gotta call that, stripes! Their offense doesn’t need any help against our defense!! #CSURams #GoRams #GoState #Stalwart

Not a great start, but I like going for it on 4th. #csurams

Just 90 minutes away from kickoff in Fort Collins, where the #CSURams begin Pac-12 play for the first time and it's a fitting first conference opponent in Oregon State.

Can the Rams solve their defensive woes and get another first for the Jim Mora era?

Start of Pac-12 play this week means availability reports. #CSURams are listing QB Hauss Hejny as questionable. There are whole host of players listed as "probable" but I won't update unless they're downgraded. Two key Rams are doubtful: DB Elijah Mc-Cantos and OL Jayden Tuia.

The #CSURams' first men's hoops schedule in the Pac-12 is here. Begins at home vs. Texas State, then it's an immediate road trip to face Gonzaga and San Diego State. Return game against the Zags closes the regular season. Should be a lot of fun.

Final in San Antonio: UTSA 59, Colorado State 45

Offense looks more than fine even without QB Hauss Hejny as K'Saan Farrar throws for nearly 350 yards, but #CSURams defense has major, major issues and gives up nearly 550 yards and allows 8 scoring drives. Next up: vs. Oregon St.

Coach Mora learning what we’ve known for decades.

We have no Defense. Ever.

#CSURams

#CSURams not dead yet at the Alamodome. Defense forces a punt to begin the second half and offense goes 66 yards on 5 plays, capped by 1-yard score on fourth-and-goal. A 59-yard run by Mel Brown on the first play made the drive.

Oh boy. ESPN cameras just caught Jim Mora SCREAMING at Tyson Summers after UTSA tied things up at 14 with an easy 5-play, 51-yard drive. There's still 5 minutes left in the first quarter, so #CSURams' great start quickly erased.

WOW. #CSURams up 14-0 early at the Alamodome. After UTSA misses a FG, K'Saan Farrar with a 74-yard pass to Terrence Smith for the score. What a start.

Down in San Antonio, Mel Brown returns the opening kickoff 94 yards for a touchdown. Not a bad start for the #CSURams.

Hauss Hejny is doubtful to play today as the #CSURams wrap nonconference play at UTSA.

Whether it's K'Saan Farrar or Darius Curry at QB, Jim Mora remains confident in the offense. The defense, on the other hand, that needs to improve quickly.
