Day 9: Hired Hits

Someone gave both of them the same "client" by mistake, oops..!
Luckily Yor aka Thorn Princess from #SpyXFamily and Léon from Luc Besson's 1994 film #TheProfessional both know it's part of the job to improvise - also good manners regardless of the situation!

Digital colour illustration featuring Yor Forger from Spy X Family and Jean Reno's character Léon from the 1994 Luc Besson film "The Professional". Interior apartment living room. High-angle shot of the room. Yor is wearing her assassin's dress. Léon has his usual long wool overcoat and beanie. Yor, aka Thorn Princess, and Léon are having a stand-off with their weapons drawn; Yor with her golden stilettos at hand and Léon with a pistol pointing at Yor. Between them, tied on a chair, is a distressed-looking man, a "client" for both of them. On both sides of the drawing are front-view close-ups of both their faces. Yor has a menacing stare, her face with a hard shadow as she greets Léon. Y:"Hello, Cleaner." León has a deadpan expression, wearing his iconic round sunglasses as he acknowledges Yor. L: "Thorn Princess."

Day 8: Super Simians

Mojo Jojo from the #PPG has called his cousins to a family gathering, including #DonkeyKong and Caesar from #PlanetOfTheApes 🦧
The matching party hats are a must!

Donkey Kong, Caesar and Mojo Jojo are grouped together. Caesar and DK both are wearing matching helmets with Mojo Jojo. Donkey Kong's large body sits with his legs spread wide, hunched over his knuckles. He's looking up at his newest fashion accessory, his brow raises and scratching the front of the helmet. Caesar sits cross-legged and a few sticks in his hand. Caesar's speech bubble: "Apes together strong." Mojo Jojo stands with a confident stance with a hand on his hip, his other hand's index finger pointing up as he's smiling with his eyes closed. Mojo's speech bubble: "No! Apes together smart."

Day 7: Sisters in Arms

During a mission to find the missing baby #Metroid , Samus also comes across another space warrior; Y'Gythgba / Mona Lisa from the 2012 #TMNT
Unfortunately she doesn't know what a "metroid" is... 🙈

A bumpy start before they become allies! 🤭

Digital colour sketches featuring Samus Aran and the baby Metroid from Nintendo's Metroid game series; and Y'Gythgba / Mona Lisa from the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show. Digital pencil sketch depicting an alien landscape with green skies and strange planets in the distance. Samus Aran is progressing through the landscape while a small container is waiting in the foreground. Second sketch depicting a glass container containing the baby Metroid; a jellyfish-like body with tiny teeth, floating in a liquid. Samus off-screen: "There you are!" Samus kneeling down and reaching for the container. "Let's get you out of here--!" A blue laser blast shoots right past Samus' left shoulder. Surprised, she turns her head to look over her right shoulder. "*Bzoom!"* A full-body sketch featuring Mona Lisa the salamandrian, her wrist blaster loaded and aiming straight at the viewer. She has a ferocious expression. "Stranger! Friend or foe, you will hand me over that Insectoid infant!"

Day 5: Legends of the Groove

If #KingdomHearts had Final Fantasy worlds and we'd visit #FF9 , #Goofy and Sylvia Marpole from An Extremely Goofy Movie could've had a dance-off with Freya Crescent and Sir Fratley in Cleyra - of course doing the Pulp Fiction dance! 🕺💃

Digital colour illustration featuring characters from Kingdom Hearts, Disney's An Extremely Goofy Movie and Final Fantasy 9. Interior Cleyra cathedral main room from Final Fantasy 9, sunny weather outside and crowd gathered in the background. In the foreground on the wooden "dance floor", Freya Crescent and Sir Fratley from Final Fantasy 9; and Goofy and Sylvia Marpole from An Extemely Goofy Movie are having a dancing contest, both pairs doing the iconic dance from the movie Pulp Fiction. Sylvia and Goofy are wearing their disco outfits, with their shoes removed, same as Uma Thurman and John Travolta in the movie. Goofy has a hole in his sock, and his ears are tied to a "ponytail", similar to Travolta's character. Freya and Fratley have their gear, coats and hats removed. All four are smiling happily with their eyes closed. In the background Sora, Donald and Kairi from Kingdom Hearts are cheering for Goofy, accompanied by Vivi Ornitier from Final Fantasy 9.

Day 4: Zero Gravity

#WallE and EVE are having fun in space when they suddenly come across a large, dark figure slowly floating though the stars... Optimus Prime from #Transformers 😔

Digital colour illustration featuring Wall-E and EVE from Pixar's Wall-E, and Optimus Prime from Transformers. Exterior deep space, dark, star filled background. Wall-E's emptied fire extinguisher floats further away, its pale white foam spiraling into the distance and some foam appearing close by and blurry. EVE and Wall-E are flying across the picture, EVE holding Wall-E by his hands, her round, blue propulsion trail behind her. They both look to their right as a dark figure appears from the shadows. The dark, lifeless body of Optimus Prime floats further away, legs pointing towards the viewer, all colour missing from his metallic body as he is slowly floating through the cosmos.

Day 3: Alien Invaders

Vegeta from #DragonBall decides to skip the formalities and just wants to destroy Earth, meanwhile Lum from #UruseiYatsura has another opinion.. 🤭

Digital mock-up manga page, resembling Akira Toriyama's style, featuring Vegeta from Dragon Ball and Lum from Urusei Yatsura. Exterior rocky wasteland with only the wind howling. Vegeta stands alone on the fields. Next we cut to an extreme close-up of Vegeta, gritting his teeth and growling under teary eyes. Next, he forms a round energy projectile above his head, shouting angrily, "That's it! I'll destroy this entire planet!" His shouting continues off-screen, meanwhile we cut to a close-up of long, dark hair moving at high-speed. "Everything gone in one big blast!" Next we see a close-up of tiger-striped boots while Vegeta yells his last regards, "So long!!" Bottom of page: large, watercoloured panel with red background. Lum has finally arrived with a purple energy stream with blue lightning surrounding her. Her mouth is comically large as she shouts back at Vegeta who looks surprised. "I won't let you harm my darling!!"

Day 2: Clan Killers

Clockwerk from the #SlyCooper games hated the Cooper Clan so much he swapped his body with a robotic one so he could hunt them for centuries.

Had him visit #LionKing and try to recruit Scar.. or give him the idea of taking over the crown!

Digital colour illustration featuring Clockwerk from the Sly Cooper games and Scar from Disney's The Lion King. Exterior, African plains during sunset, sky ominously crimson with sun setting behind the Pride Rock in the distance. Clockwerk stands in his massive, metallic owl body, his wings spread and eyes glowing yellow. His beak has a smile as he is discussing with Scar who is seated in front of him. Scar, much smaller that Clockwerk, sits with his back turned to Clockwerk, head turned to him with a raised brow and a wicked smile on his face. He has one of his lion fingers raises and scratches his chin as he appears to be pondering whatever Clockwerk is saying to him.

Day 1: Heralds of Hope

Came across a crossover-focused art challenge!

Yuna from #FFX is expected to bring hope to Spira, meanwhile one of Aragorn's names in #lotr is Estel which literally means 'Hope' so I reckoned he'd come and share some encouraging words to the young summoner 🤓

Digital short comic featuring characters from Final Fantasy X and The Lord of the Rings. Panel 1: Simple green backdrop. Yuna is sitting on the grass with her back turned. Auron, one of his guardians, arrives, calling her by name. Yuna quickly turns her head in surprise. Panel 2: Auron gestures with his hand at a dark stranger standing next to him, smiling under his collar. "There's someone I'd like you to meet. An old fiend." Panel 3. Close-up of Yuna's face as she looks up at the stranger with awe in her eyes and the air around her; sparkling in hues of pink and orange. "Lady Yuna. Your path is filled with sorrow, but as long as you have hope, your lands will heal." Bottom: frameless illustration of Aragorn from Lord of the Rings, standing in front of Yuna, offering a warm smile and words of encouragement. He gently holds her hand in both of his. Yuna appears surprised while her back is turned. "Similar to a king's, the hands of a summoner are also the hands of a healer."
