Till the Stars Come Down
Great staging and a very good cast to put on this show. Thought everyone did well.
The plot is a little predictable though and a bit soapy.

Love’s Labour’s Lost: the musical
Very funny and with a wonderful cast. This was a lot of fun and so brilliantly staged.
Three Men in a Boat
A lot of fun and some effective staging. This was a preview so there were some errors but they dealt with them deftly and in some cases hilariously.

Aaand Union Theatre to see
Pericles (kind of)
An abridged musical version of the classic. This was very funny, featuring pirates, bawdy songs and a fab cast.
This has two more performances (17th and 18th)is only an hour long and there’s a great bar/cafe attached.

Shout out to smaller theatres coming up!
Twelfth Night at The Drayton Arms.
Reimagined in the 70s disco scene, featuring mad fashion, great music and some fine performers.
This is on until 26th Sept and deserves a good audience.

As You Like It
Love going to the Globe although the wooden seats are hard on the bum!
Fun and energetic production of this famous play. Costumes and wigs were so good too.
The Story
Trip to the National. Tense story about newspaper stories and how out of hand things can get. Wanted a little more resolution with one strand, but this was great theatre.
Oresteia
Absolutely brilliant! Modernised version of the Greek Tragedy. It was long but utterly gripping.
Jeeves Takes Charge
One man show. Quite funny. First half lifted directly from the books, and second veered away from them.
Finally updating

Whipping it up
A blend of Yes Prime Minister and The Thick of It.
Funny, well-acted and a biting script
