After a couple of larger crochet projects I wanted a small, simple, quick one. This is the Bobbled Mitts pattern by Karen King Garlinghouse from Crochet Noro: 30 Dazzling Designs (2012). Noro yarn colors are always gorgeous.

The hands of a white woman wearing fingerless gloves. The hands are resting on a nubby, putty-colored upholstery fabric. The fingernails are short and polished a pearly pink. The fingers are pointing down towards the bottom of the image and the palms are against the fabric. The gloves are made with a simple crochet pattern, just some rib-like stitches near the cuffs and four evenly spaced rows of small bobble stitches on the hand part of the gloves. The color of the yarn of the glove on the left begins at the wrist with a mossy green, then progresses through blue-gray, dark blue, golden yellow, earthy orange, rich brown, pale brown, fresh light green, acorn brown, and ends with blue gray. The Glove on the right hand, while clearly made from the same multi-colored yarn, was started at a different place in the color sequence. At the wrist the first row of stitches is dark blue and then progresses through a gray brown, terra cotta orange, old gold, golden yellow, earthy orange, rich brown, pale brown, fresh light green, and ends with a mossy olive green.
