Understandably also called the
“Super” estate wagon.
And it cost less than $1500, new.

We had a party line too, but I don't remember a number associated with it. We had to have one I suppose to call the other party, who happened be my cousin.
However I do remember our phone number, five digits,
7-1400.

#CrimeWave is such a nice and tight film noir - cast with a room full of familiar names. That said, I'm really tempted to watch "Decoy" - the film it shares on the twofer WB disc.
Until next week folks: have a good one and stay safe.

Yeah that bothered me the whole time. How can they see City Hall from Glendale? Maybe the top of a good sized hill, but not city streets.

#ChicagoSyndicate for next week. That one doesn't sound familiar to me.
Well, that's it for now. See all you noiristas next time.
Take care, and be safe.

Simms pep talk at the end rings hollow after bullying the Laceys for 73 minutes. #TCMParty #NoirAlley #CrimeWave

I always have loved #CrimeWave. It never disappoints. #TCMParty #NorAlley

"Sweat and hair cream." He certainly did have a lot of hair cream in this film.

So much packed into 73 minutes. Exquisite pacing, solid acting, and great location shooting. A very efficient and enjoyable noir. #CrimeWave #NoirAlley #TCMParty

OK, I'm a dumbazz. Who dropped the clue so Simms would know to stake out that particular bank?
